Metal Fragments is a common type of resource. Often used to craft clothing and structures. Almost all types of ammunition as well as most types of weapon require “metal fragments”. Some types of armor use fragments for crafting, for example bucket helmet or road sign jacket. Also, metal fragments are used in building routine to improve structures to "metal".

How to get a metal fragment (Recipe)

For 1 metal fragment there must be 1 metal ore melted down in furnace or large furnace.
Empty cans of Beans and tuna can be melted down in a campfire or a furnace, for making 15 and 10 metal fragments respectively.
