Custom SMG is a submachine gun, suitable for close combat. SMG clip size is 24 pistol bullets. It has a high rate of fire, but the range of bullets flying is much lower than that of counterparts. As developers wrote in Rust DevBlog 59, SMG has been designed to reduce the "gap" between the ruthless force of Thompson and revolver. SMG inflicts the damage of 7-15 HP per hit, with a high probability of causing Bleeding. Not suitable for medium and long range combat, so the accuracy is very low. However, when used properly, player with SMG can destroy the enemy with a more powerful weapon. It is achieved due to the high rate of fire and the need to aim almost absent.

Как крафтить SMG (Рецепт)
Для создания самодельного пистолета-пулемёта необходимо знание рецепта. Его можно получить на 27 уровне за 41 пункт XP.
Для создания SMG, необходимо добыть и переработать в печке 30 единиц металлической руды высокого качества. На выходе должно получиться 30 металла высокого качества. Дальше следует создать SMG из 30 единиц металла высокого качества, 100 дерева и 10 ткани. Крафт займёт около 2 минут.
