Crossbow is the ranged weapon in Rust. The range of its attack and the damage of it is approximately 20% is greater than the hunting bow, and arrow flight speed is higher in 70% . Reload speed here is 20% slower. Shoots the same arrows as a usual bow.

How to make a crossbow (Recipe)

The recipe is not known to the player by default, but you can find it in barrels, airdrop or it may be obtained from the blueprint page. Also, the crossbow can be explored at the Research table.

To create a crossbow, follow these steps:

1. Initially, you need to get 25 pieces of cloth, 350 Wood and 75 metal ore.
2. Extracted ore must be melted in furnace or large furnaces to obtain 75 metal fragments.
3. From the collected and processed resources a crossbow can be crafted.

Creation process takes about 2 minutes.
