Survival Fish Trap is designed for fishing in the coastal zone. Trap durability is 100 units, which allows you to destroy it easily. It is also vulnerable to rust, but can be restored using a hammer. It is recommended to use for beginners, since it is relatively effective in solving the problem of hunger.
How to Craft a fishing trap (Recipe)
Recipe is known to the player from the basic set of knowledge and does not require learning.
To create a trap, you will need 200 Wood, and 2 pieces of cloth. Creation process takes 30 seconds.
Usage
You can set a trap at the bottom near the shore at a relatively shallow depth. Once placed, you can gain access to its inventory. You need to place food bait in there. After a while the fish will appear in the trap inventory, either a trout or minnows. It takes about three minutes to catch a fish.
